Voice Ringtones

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Marcus_Peterson]Marcus Peterson Voice ringtones are celebrity sound-alike recordings for ringtones or text message alerts. Instead of monophonic, polyphonic or musical ringtones, mobile users are now choosing voice tones as ringtones. You can even download celebrity voice ringtones from websites, often free of charge. Even cell phone manufacturers including Motorola, Nokia and Sony Ericsson are marketing voice ring tones. In fact, theyve become a must-have accessory. Opera Telecom and Mobile Streams are the global leaders in offering next-generation mobile content. Ringtones include polyphonic sound with a voice track overlaid in WAV format. Opera Telecom also has a collection of voice ringtones over music and text message alerts. The voice ringtones created by Mobile Streams are available at Mobile Streams websites, wapsites and Live! sites such as www.ringtones.com and www.polyphonicringtones.com. Even Mobile Streams also uses professional singers for celebrity voice ringtones. Some models of Samsung cell phones support this advanced level of voice polyphonic ringtones. Today every cell phone entering the market will include an audio recorder. The recorder can record continuously for 3 to 4 minutes either in MP3 or MIDI format. These phones also have a mechanism of converting voices into ringtones. You can record dialogue like You have a call or a barking dog and convert it into melody. Some mobile users may be tempted to use the voice ringtone audio recorder to record musical ringtones having low-fi musical beats. But its not recommended. The voice recorder is meant for capturing voice only. [http://www.ringtones-web.com]Ringtones provides detailed information about ringtones, free ringtones, music ringtones and more. Use Your Slogan to Develop Powerful Marketing

By Kevin Stirtz My wife thinks I’m strange. I won’t go into all the reasons for this, but one of them is that I’m constantly looking up words in the dictionary and thesaurus. The other day I looked up the word “slogan”. What I found fascinated me. We all know what a slogan is. Too often it’s a bland and meaningless piece of self-serving verbiage we see on signs, letterhead, business cards, billboard and everywhere else companies paint their marketing messages. In my experience, most slogans are worthless as a way to deliver a useful marketing message. Because they usually say nothing. Or worse, they often give a meaning the author didn’t intend but the reader finds funny, in an unflattering way. For example, I live in Minnesota. Our nice neighbor to the south is Iowa. For a while, their big “welcome to our state” signs had a happy smiley face picture and this text: “Iowa. You make me smile.” Okay, this seems fine. Until people start tweaking it so it reads: “Iowa. You make me laugh.” (I think a Minnesotan came up with that.) James Wysong, of TravelComment.com provides us with some entertaining travel-related slogans that don’t do their makers proud: “In Washington Dulles one airport hotel sports the slogan, “Wave to the plane.” Somehow it makes me think I am going to hear and feel the plane all night long as well.” and… “In Chicago, there is another airport hotel with the slogan, “So close to the airport, it’s like sleeping on the runway.” And this is a good thing?” It’s no surprise to most of us that lame and misguided slogans abound. But what I found in the dictionary got my attention. Here’s how it describes the word “slogan”: “A war cry or gathering cry, as formerly used among the Scottish clans.” Now that’s more like it! There’s a great example of the power words can have. Just imagine a slogan so clear and strong that it can motivate, focus and energize a band of warriors going into battle. Back then, slogans saved lives, even entire villages! What would those fierce Scottish warriors think of today’s weak and wimpy slogans? “Castrol makes it work better” doesn’t quite have the impact I’d want as I launched into battle against my sworn enemies. Maybe I’m taking this personally because those Scottish warriors could have been my ancestors. (I have Logan blood in my veins.) Or, maybe we should all take our slogans as seriously as my Scottish forebears did. Maybe we should view them in the same light, as something to rally around. If we did, I’ll bet we’d have a lot more powerful and memorable slogans all around us. Companies would have one more useful weapon in their marketing arsenals. As you think of how to promote your company or brand, remember the Scottish warriors. Craft your slogan with the same care and purpose, as if it were to lead you into battle. Make it work for you rather than against you. Make it worthwhile. Make it so powerful people can’t help but remember it. That’s what a slogan should be! More customers! More revenue! More profits! That’s what Kevin Stirtz helps companies create. Kevin is a business growth expert who helps people improve their companies. Immunity for Defamatory Information on the Internet Granted in California

By Arnold Hernandez In the case of the Stephen J. Barrett v. Ilena Rosenthal, the California Supreme has recently provided immunity to any user and internet provider that publishes any information provided by another information content provider, even if the content contains defamatory untruthful statements. The court advised that is what congress enacted and the court cannot change the law. It is up to congress to change it, in the meantime a person is still entitled to sue the original publisher of defamatory statements. In this case plaintiffs, Dr. Stephen J. Barrett and Dr. Timothy Polevoy, operated Web sites devoted to exposing health frauds. Defendant Ilena Rosenthal directed the Humantics Foundation for Women and operated an Internet discussion group. Plaintiffs alleged that Rosenthal and others committed libel by maliciously distributing defamatory statements in e-mails and Internet postings, impugning plaintiffs’ character and competence and disparaging their efforts to combat fraud. They alleged that Rosenthal republished various messages even after Dr. Barrett warned her they contained false and defamatory information. The Court stated that: In the Communications Decency Act of 1996, Congress declared: “No provider or user of an interactive computer service shall be treated as the publisher or speaker of any information provided by another information content provider.” (47 U.S.C. 230(c)(1).) “No cause of action may be brought and no liability may be imposed under any State or local law that is inconsistent with this section.” ( 230(e)(3).) These provisions have been widely and consistently interpreted to confer broad immunity against defamation liability for those who use the Internet to publish information that originated from another source. We conclude that section 230 prohibits “distributor” liability for Internet publications. We further hold that section 230(c)(1) immunizes individual “users” of interactive computer services, and that no practical or principled distinction can be drawn between active and passive use. www.arnoldhernandez.com California Supreme Court Case S122953 Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Arnold_Hernandez http://EzineArticles.com/?Immunity-for-Defamatory-Information-on-the-Internet-Granted-in-California&id=420284 missouri signature loan bad credit hourly paycheck calculator boston apartment for rent no credit check no credit check abilene texasw

Lincoln Cent Pennies - Collectors Love Them While Most Folks Hate Them

By Robert Benjamin If you walk accross a street and you see a quarter on the ground would you pick it up ? I bet you would. Now, what if the coin you saw lying there was a penny, would you still pick it up ? Some folks would say, if it was lying face up I might, otherwise picking up a coin that is lying face-down may bring bad luck. How come folks don’t say this saying if it was a quarter or a dollar bill lying on the ground, face-down. It all comes down to the value of the money, whether it gets picked up or not. I think most children would pick up a penny, to them a couple pennies can still buy a piece of candy, and to a collector of lincon cents, a penny face down or face up may be a rare find just waiting for an owner. It’s strange how the poor little penny gets such a bad rap from folks, when your in line at a store folks get mad if your counting through a bunch of them, and they seem to be in everyones vehicle ash tray, or glove compartment like there a piece of trash. But to me it’s always been the same as having a nickel, dime or anything else. I mean come on folks, you wouldn’t throw a nickel away, so why a penny. It’s getting so bad that now days many stores keep some on the counter in a container and folks can have a couple for free if they need them for change, I hope they get to the point where they do that for dollars someday. I remember a time when my wife and I was happy to have a jar of pennies, so we could roll them and take them to the local bank for some badly needed money, now I am happy to say those desperate days seem to be gone for me, but I bet there are still a lot of folks that save, and roll their pennies for cash when hard times come along The Lincoln Cent has been around since 1909, it is the oldest minted design of any U.S. coin. The Lincoln Cent was the first regular minted U.S. coin that used a portrait on it. A sculptor named ‘ Victor David Brenner ‘, was selected because of his talents, by president Theodore Roosevelt to design the Lincoln Cent portrait. In fact President Roosevelt saw a plaque that Brenner had made several years earlier that had the image of President Lincoln on it. Indian Head Cents, Flying Eagle Cents, and Large Cents, did not have the motto ‘ In God We Trust ‘, on them, in fact The Lincoln Cent was the first U.S. penny or cent that had the motto ‘ In God We Trust ‘, placed on it. In 1909, the first year of the Lincoln Cents release the pennies had the designer’s initials on it ‘ VDB ‘, but after the coin was released a lot of folks complained that the designers initial’s detracted value from the coin, so the large letters ‘ VDB ‘, were removed, later in 1918 they were placed back on the penny, but in very tiny print and hidden under the shoulder of Lincoln. From the cents release in 1909 until 1958 the reverse side of the Lincoln Cent showed two wheat stalks, one along each side of the coin. In 1959 a new design was released for the reverse side of the Lincon Cent, this design was the ‘ Lincoln Memorial ‘, which is still on the coins today. In 1943 copper became scarce and was needed for the military, so the mint produced Lincoln Cents from zinc-coated steel, these coins are gray or chalky colored. With almost one hundred years of circulation, the Lincoln Cent has many key-dates and error varieties that make some of them prized finds for coin collectors. Some of the sought after lincoln cents wanted by collectors are: ‘ 1909-S V.D.B. ‘,’ 1914 - D ‘,’ 1922 Plain ‘,’ 1944 D over S ‘,’ 1955 Double Die ‘, other Lincolns that have double die errors are on the obverse of some cents dated 1936, 1972, 1984 and 1995 and on the reverse of some cents dated 1983. There is computer software that is made for collecting Lincoln Cent Pennies. ‘ Lincoln Cent Collector Software ‘, lets you record detailed information about each of your Lincoln Cents, such as: Source Aquired from, including name, address, telephone info, email, date, coin condition, cost, value, mint mark, errors or other info, notes, and much more. This is the most easiest to use software of it’s kind, and it is made 100% for collecting Lincoln Cents. How to be Successful at Online Dating

By Ron Zvagelsky With such a fast-paced world, dating has been set to the next level. But no matter how quick you convert chats and private messaging into real life dates, online relationships can absolutely turn into something steady and serious. If you are ready to plunge into the world of online dating, here are some tips to make you successful in your feat: Work on Your Profile If someone were looking for a date online, whether through chat or MySpace, your profile would be the first thing that he or she would check out. Avoid writing about negative things in your profile a positive aura always attracts people in a good way. Be creative and clever in creating your profile. Also, try to comparing yourself with someone famous or a movie character so as to paint a picture of your personality. Picture Perfect Try to post your best picture. Posting pictures of cartoon characters or celebrities instead of your own can give the impression that you are trying to be someone that you are not. Dont Rush Things Dont arrange for a meet-up right away. Take time to get to know your would-be date either on chat or through private messaging (a week or so would do). If you can, get his/her cellphone number so that you can call or text them whenever either of you goes offline. Your previous conversations with them can make things easier when you decide to go out on a real date. Be Consistent There are some people that you share a good first conversation with. The key to honing an online relationship is constant communication. See to it that you send a message to your someone on a regular basis. Remember that there are probably hundreds of other people that he/she is chatting with, so make a move to let him/her know youre still interested! Although dating in the online world is in such a hurried state, you should not be. Take time to get to know a person and share something about yourself as well. If you both hit it off on the internet, chances are you may be compatible offline as well. Now thats something to look forward to. Ron Zvagelsky has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 2006.
